"Audio, Video, Disco." is a song by the French duo, Justice. It is the title track and second single from their second studio album Audio, Video, Disco..[1]

Musical Style

Audio Video Disco a typical electro house track, with a 70's arena rock cross gothic theme. It begins with a gothic style organ melody ending in an A major chord, breaking into a four-to-the-floor drum beat and the organ chorus line with an increase in volume. The organ chord sequence repeats itself throughout the song as E major, D major, C major, B minor, A major, with variations such as inversions throughout the song. The drum track includes a heavily compressed kick drum and a decaying synthesiser white noise hit played over the snare. Next come highly processed multitrack harmonised vocals by Xavier de Rosnay repeating the worlds "Audio Video Disco" in the same chord sequence as the organ. These vocals continue through the song, and a further harmonised by vocals from Gasparde Augé in the same multitrack harmonisation and filtering. The song swells up and down repeating these elements with slight changes throughout, including a brief piano interlude and a small guitar inclusion. The song builds up to an emphasised version of the chorus with slightly altered and more distinct drums, then slowly eases out leaving a final repeat of the organ chorus and a guitar strumming a muted E note until the end of the chord sequence.
